Now our dual reservoir conversion is more complete than ever...we've designed custom-bent stainless lines to make this the best and most complete master cylinder upgrade available anywhere. If you already have a disc brake 65-66 Mustang, this is everything you'll need...master cylinder, brake lines, and we can also supply you with a new junction block and an adjustable proportioning valve, or a rebuild kit for your old valve Our master cylinders are available in two oversized sizes, with a 1” piston for stock brakes and a 1 1/8” piston for competition. Either will improve your pedal pressure, and your Mustang will be much safer with a dual reservoir. Reinforced Competition Centerlink for 65 - 70 Mustangs
Cobra Automotive now offers Reinforced Competition Centerlinks for 65 - 70 Mustangs with manual steering. We start with a new reproduction centerlink that is US made to exceed OEM standards. Gussets made of 1/4 thick mild steel are laser cut to fit the contours of the centerlink then welded in place. These gussets are located on 2 planes, across the back and bottom edges so there are no clearance issues with the oil pan. This greatly reduces any centerlink flex that could cause unwanted toe changes, alignment or suspension movement. The improved strength of this piece allows the driver to get the full benefit of high performance suspension modifications such as bump steer kits, competition alignments, racing tires etc.

Exact Reproduction 1965 Shelby Package Tray
Cobra Automotive is now offering its own reproduction 1965 Shelby package tray. This replaces the rear seat & trap door to the trunk. The tray has a concavity that allows the spare tire to be mounted inside the car. Made from a mold taken from an original part this has the exact texture on the inside surface and on the back side where it is visible inside the trunk. The quality and availability are excellent as these are made exclusively for Cobra Automotive by the same supplier that makes their R-Model front aprons. Finished in black gel coat with the shock access and tire hold down holes pre- cut these are ready to install in a Shelby restoration, vintage racer or Shelby clone project.

Model Style Front Racing Apron for 67 68 Mustangs

now offers its own R Model Style front racing apron for
67 - 68 Mustangs. This apron brings the style and function
of the Shelby GT 350 R Model apron to the 67 68
cars. This apron has parking light holes, brake duct holes with flanges
and does not use the front bumper. Made exclusively for Cobra Automotive
to our own design these aprons have integral headlight buckets that
eliminate the awkward lip where the front bumper used to be. Total weight
savings is 24.6 lbs accomplished by the removal of the bumper, brackets,
stock headlight buckets, hood latch & stock valence. They are designed
for hood Pin cars but can be adapted to retain the stock
hood latch. Made for a precise fit out of fiberglass with a ready to
paint, black, gel coat finish. These are a bolt-on part using the stock
mounting points and have provisions to mount the stock grill, trim and
headlight assemblies.

Tie-Down and Tow Hook kit

throwing those tow hooks around your lower control arms and rear axle?
Here's a great solution...our bolt-on tow bracket kit lets you snap
your tow hooks right onto these clean-looking tow rings, ratchet them
up, and away you go. The rear brackets will bolt onto any
portion of a 3" axle housing, and the front tabs bolt right onto
the bottom of the '65-'66 lower control arms, using the stock bolt holes
for the front strut mounts. Easily adaptable to a variety of other
applications. This kit includes all four brackets... two front, and
two rear, with grade 8 bolts. Powder Coated.

Racing Front Crossmember
Every competition and high performance '65-'66 and '67 -
'70 Mustang will benefit from this racing front crossmember, designed
to strengthen the front frame and create a more rigid structure.
This crossmember replaces the stock one, but ties into the two
lower control arm mounting points, accepting the pivot bolts at
each side, making the front frame section a more integrated structure.
Every race car needs this piece. It's the same setup the Boss
Mustangs used. Comes with hardware, as shown.

Vented
COBRA Battery Caps
In 1965, the Shelby American factory equipped only a small handful of
GT350?s with a special set of vented COBRA battery caps that came on
the Autolite StaFul batteries. These appeared for only a very brief
time, on 1965 GT350?s approximately between serial numbers #100 and
#329. Today, these battery caps are highly valued by those lucky enough
to have acquired a rare original set, and they are considered an elusive
treasure by those who still search for them.
Cobra Automotive is happy to announce the reintroduction of these COBRA
vented battery caps. Made from an original set of caps to construct
the master molds, these beautiful reproductions are meticulously crafted,
and are virtually indistinguishable from the originals. The new caps
are painstakingly hand-made, one set at a time, with a total emphasis
on quality and fit. The lower necks of these caps also look like
those of the originals (white), and will register perfectly in the new
Autolite reproduction StaFul batteries. While the new batteries are
designed for screw-in caps, these reproduction vented COBRA caps will
fit snugly into the smooth area above the threaded portion of each hole.
Each pair of caps is shipped with 48? of tubing to allow the battery
to be vented correctly from the stock GT350?s trunk-mounted location.

Lightweight Hollow Tube Sway Bar

a 1-1/4 OD hollow tube front sway bar for '65 - '66 and '67 -
70 Mustangs. They are 7-8 lbs lighter and 5% stiffer than a 1-1/8
solid unit. Made of seamless steel tubing with black powder coating
and supplied with black urethane bushings and all mounting hardware.
These are made for small block cars but can be installed on a big block
car if a remote oil filter is used. They are 100% American-Made.
